Chris joined the Charterhouse team in 2003. His determination and professionalism have helped Charterhouse become one of the most active property investment/development companies in London.
He is responsible for maintaining Charterhouse London’s development pipeline, appraising and negotiating the same whilst developing relationships with the stakeholders enabling the schemes to come to life. He is also responsible for overseeing the residential investment side of the business.
He previously worked for the SHV Energy Group as a commercial surveyor.
Chris holds a first class post Graduate Diploma in Surveying from the University of Reading, and a degree in Management Sciences from Southampton University.
Michael is the founder of Charterhouse, one of London’s most active property investment and development companies. He has worked in the UK market since 1988 with a particular emphasis on London and the South East.
He is a multi-disciplined professional with expertise across residential investment and commercial property. He is also adept in dealing with complex legal structures and corporate purchases.
Passion, hard work and a demanding approach are key aspects of Michael’s business style. These attributes have helped Charterhouse grow into a multi-faceted organisation with an entrepreneurial flair.
In Michael’s early career he worked for Jones Lang LaSalle maximising returns on the Langham Estate through an active asset management programme. Later in his career Michael acquired May & Co, a boutique west London estate agency.
Michael holds a degree in Land Management from the College of Estate Management, Reading University.
Doug is responsible for delivering the consented scheme through to practical completion, on time and to budget.
Prior to joining Charterhouse in 2010 he worked for Berkeley Homes as a Commercial Manager. Thereafter he joined Gardiner & Theobald LLP Construction Management in Central London as an Associate Director.
Doug has experience in both volume house building and highly bespoke luxury development.
Doug holds a post Graduate Diploma in Surveying from the University of Reading, and a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Southampton University.
Robert joined the Charterhouse Group in 2013. He oversees the day to day management of the sites operating a continuous improvement strategy.
His excellent organisation skills have helped the company’s contracting business grow exponentially through sound management and leadership skills.
Prior to working at Charterhouse Rob had a career in the military where he developed his organisational and motivational skills.
Luke is responsible for the project commercial management. From producing initial project budgets, procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, valuations and project cost control through to final account stage, Luke is involved at every stage of the development process to help deliver the projects on time and within budget.
Prior to joining Charterhouse in 2017 Luke gained his experience working for other developers and was involved in a large number of projects ranging in value from £5m to £50m.
Luke has a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying from the University of Northumbria.
Tom joined the company in January 2016 and supports the team throughout the various stages of acquisition/disposal, development and asset management. Tom underwrites various asset business plans through bespoke financial analysis to inform strategic decision making.
Tom previously worked for Cushman & Wakefield in the London Development Group, specialising in residential development and investment. Prior to this He worked in the National Investment team working a variety of investment or funding transactions across the industrial, office and hotel secotrs. During his time at C&W Tom advised on over £1.5 billion of Transactions.
Beverley joined the company in 2009 and works with the acquisitions team to ensure the successful delivery of Charterhouse’s developments and investments from post-acquisition through to final handover or disposal.
Beverley’s leadership skills combined with several years’ experience in working in HR contributes greatly to the success of the business.
Beverley’s role immediately before joining Charterhouse was as HR Process Improvement Manager at Pitney Bowes. Prior to this, Beverley worked in HR for a company with the EMAP PLC group.
Tina came to Charterhouse with a great deal of experience in asset and property management having previously looked after a national portfolio of several hundred properties.
She has also worked in sales with Foxtons, London. Tina currently manages the accounting function for our development business including: project accounting, purchase ledger, CIS tax statements and submissions and order placing.
Simona joined Charterhouse in 2017 having previously worked as a property manager at one of the largest property management companies in the UK. She brings a broad base of experience to Charterhouse from letting and managing individual units through to larger portfolios.
Simona is the first point of contact for new build handovers, ensuring that we maintain our commitment customer service.
On the investment side of the company, Simona manages our relationships with the appointed block managers and letting agents. She also deals with lessees and tenants where Charterhouse manages internally.
